Evolution and Future
The Fourth Wave of Newman

Newman builds the future through education, forming people of character — protagonists of positive change in society.

The evolution of our educational vision invites us to think carefully about space. We believe the environment itself is part of integral formation: from classrooms and laboratories to sports grounds and recreation areas.

From this conviction, the Masterplan was born — an infrastructure project that supports an education fit for the skills of the 21st century.

1948 – Av. Belgrano 1548
The school's first home in the city.

1971 - Move to San Isidro
The need for open green spaces — essential to the Newman ethos — led the community to undertake a new challenge: relocating the school to its current site in San Isidro. It took ten years of commitment and fundraising by families.

1975 – Foundation of Club Newman
Following the invitation of the Christian Brothers, another group of families founded Club Newman: a space for community life and the cultivation of values — humility, resilience, teamwork — through sport.

Newman hoy: la cuarta ola

We stand at a new milestone. A new chapter rooted in enduring values, yet oriented towards the capabilities the world now demands.

When we ask “Why a Masterplan now?”, our answer is simply: “Why Newman now?” — because we remain committed to building the future through education.

We are convinced that forming transformative, principled, and engaged leaders is the greatest contribution we can make to society. And we believe a purposefully designed environment is essential to achieving it.

Pedagogical vision

Newman's leadership team has long been developing an educational model that is both faithful to its mission and genuinely innovative — aligned with the demands of the 21st century.

Bilingualism
A programme that broadens pupils' exposure to the English language, in alignment with Cambridge standards.

Project-Based Learning
A methodology that fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary approaches. Science, the arts, and technology are integrated to enrich each learning experience and bring depth to the curriculum.

The Learning Hub
The future Learning Hub is designed as a space purpose-built to amplify these approaches. It will be one of the most significant buildings in the school's history — relocating the current laboratories and workshops to the heart of the campus, and consolidating an inspiring, collaborative, forward-looking environment.
